Thanks to the situation in Ukraine, "World of Tanks" has been split into two seperate games.
One for the Western aligned regions - "World of Tanks" by Wargaming,
One for the Russian aligned regions - "Mir Tankov" by Lesta Studios.
At the point of the split these where the same game, but have subsequently, diverged quite a bit.
Players on what was the old RU server cluster where given a chance to stay on the newly formed Lesta Games game or have their account transferred to the original Wargaming game.
Two of the old RU cluster servers where also transfered to Wargaming (becoming EU3 and EU4)
Its oft been stated that the better quality of players where on the old RU servers, and several people I know played and had accounts on the old RU servers.
This was simple to do when it was the same game.
However the games, as said, have diverged and now its not so simple.
I took it on myself as a technical challenge to see if it was posible to
TLDR; I have done both.
Now I am making the Game client patch available to all here so that if any of you want to see how "Mir Tankov" is on the old RU servers, well you now can.
